According to the different groups of rock formation, we can make the waterways to be 8WW、10WW、12WW, if the rock formation is very soft and broken, the driller desire to get good penetration without waterway blocking, we suggest to make 8WW, this design can make sure excellent penetration speed, better cooling the bits, the extended width of waterways can flush the rock debris well. For HWL (HQ) diamond drill bits, our standard design is 10WW, such as RH8, RH10, we suggest to choose 10WW design, however if the rock is very hard and non abrasive, we highly recommend 12WW waterway design, it can reduce the contact area of the segment, and improve the unit area cutting pressure, it can be helpful for cutting the rock easier and faster, also here turbo waterway bit is an another optimal option for your selection.
